Le Corbusier Ponyskin Chaise Longue.
An important figure of the Modernist era, Swiss born Architect Le Corbusier is without a doubt one of the most influential and most admired architects of the twentieth century. The LC4 Chaise Longue, designed in 1928 and by Le Corbusier dubbed the “relaxing machine,” is a lounge that mirrors the body’s natural curves while appearing to float above its supports. A tubular bow-shaped frame holds a bed of leather atop a black powder coated steel base. The moveable frame adjusts along the base from upright to full recline with ease.
Our version of the ponyskin (well, cowhide, actually) chaise longue has a fabulous brown and white or black and white covered cushion with a matching ponyskin bolster. A plain leather bolster is also available on request.
